The Instructor

Katy Kolasa, RYT

Registered with the Yoga Alliance, Katy has been a certified instructor of Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga since August 2008 after being trained at Frog Lotus Yoga in MA. She completed her 500 hour Advanced Teacher Training in Hatha and Sampoorna Yoga at Leela Mata Peaceful Valley Ashram in PA. Devoted to yoga since her first exposure to it in college, she has been a practitioner for over fourteen years. As an avid traveler and lover of nature, she has studied many types of yoga by participating in a variety of classes, workshops, and retreats around country. She is very passionate about teaching and has taught several different types of yoga to students from ages 2 to 90 years old.

Regardless of the style that she is teaching, Katy often offers options to her students throughout her classes to try to accommodate everyone, as all of our bodies are different. As a yoga instructor and in everyday life, Katy loves to motivate, teach, inspire, and to learn while supporting others on their journeys to find their own mind, body, soul connection. Believing that her primary purpose here on Earth is to spread goodness, love, and positive energy, Katy truly honors and encourages the love, light, and truth within all beings.
